To what depth are contaminates removed from an area of land?
There is a landfill site near the main NDRL building that caught fire in 2000. There is a temporary cap on the landfill. No one really knows what’s in the landfill except some radioactive contaminated items and other miscellaneous items. The Navy wants to put a permanent cap over the landfill.
-What’s in the landfill?
-How safe is capping a toxic nuclear waste site?
-What happens to the cap if there is an earthquake?
-Why not remove the contaminated materials in the landfill instead of capping it?
-Does the Navy not want people to know what’s in the landfill?
-This landfill is near the bay. Can toxins leach into the bay water?
The NRDL used at least 25 different building at Hunters Point before consolidating its operations into a single large building. Not all the buildings the NRDL used are on the list for inspection. Why?

I am trying to find all my information by searching for key words on the web page, as .gob, .net or .org. so far I have found more negative impacts about hr GMOs than positive. These impacts have guided me to have these questions.

(d) Would government subsidies relieve lower income families and promote an increase in membership?
ReplyDelete2. Narrowing down recreation centers hasn't become clear. I am a Badminton player and it would be considered a recreational sport.(a) What extent does the term rec center encompass?(b) Can those who don't offer after school programs and such be considered a rec center?
3. Is there a correlation between wealthier neighborhoods having more participants in rec centers that offer after school programs?
4. Does the idea of having a fee for rec centers deter lower income families from sending their kids to rec centers? In which case, this would beg part (d) of question 1.
