  1. Agriculture is not just an industry but a foundation to our way of life, it provides us with the food we eat to the beverages we drink. If what we eat is so important why are so many of the ingredients going into our food going unsaid and unlabeled? Since the rise of need for food, scientists have found new ways for farming, by using GMO’s (genetically modified organisms) and inserting corn based products in almost everything we eat today. This leads me to ask the following questions…

    1)What are GMO’s
2)What are the pros and cons on GMO’s
    3)Why are GM foods produced
4)Why are GM products not labeled
5)What further developments can be expected in the area of GMO’s?

  3. Three new things I leaned where:

1)GMO’s are created by scientist, by inserting genes into a seed or a plat. This would never be able to occur naturally on its own

2)Based on animal research with the GM foods there have been serious health risk associated with eating GM foods.

3)GM ingredients pose a risk to the environment as well.
